As I edit your work, I not only fix grammatical and spelling errors, but I examine clarity, word choice, structure, and your audience’s expectations. I write comments in the margins of your document and use Track Changes to offer suggestions and fixes that will clarify your message.
Forms of payment I accept are credit/debit cards and bank transfers through Wave Accounting or Zelle. Payment can also be made through personal checks, though the check must clear before I can send you the edited work. Please see the Payment tab for more information about my payment schedule.
My Services & Pay Rates:
- For academic editing, such as theses, dissertations, presentations, book chapters, essays, and articles, my per-word rate is $30 per 1,000 words. I’m happy to provide free estimates, and I offer a free 300-word sample edit upon request.
- For business editing, such as professional emails, marketing material, and websites, my per-word rate is generally $30 per 1,000 words, but I generate estimates on an individual basis.
- Works of writing that do not fall into the categories above will generally cost $30 per 1,000 words as well, though rates may vary depending on the type of work. Please email me to describe the piece and receive a free estimate.
